IVY Inspiration

Design is inspiration. Inspiration is passion. Passion is love. And I love gemstones.

More than 400 years ago, a connoisseur named Jean-Baptiste Tavernier traveled to the worlds most remote places in search of gemstones and other hidden treasures that he later brought back to Europe. His journal and dramatic documentation has been a true source of inspiration when I, myself, travel to the most remote places in Burma, Sri Lanka, Africa and Pamir.

My passion started when I witnessed an amazing mineral collection at the geological institute at the University of Odessa. From this moment on I knew what I really wanted to do in my life.

It’s the inspiration from natures rarest wonders, exploring the unknown, rare incredible gemstones, art & life among people I meet that inspires the creation of the IVY collection.

Our latest IVY collection consists of unheated Sapphires, Rubies, Demantoids, Mandarin Garnets, Lavender & Vibrant Red Spinels, Indigo Tourmalines and Diamonds.
