Product Details

Red Spinel 4.16cts, Rose-Cut Diamond 3.50cts / 8pcs, 18k gold

An exquisite gem ring is composed of a very fine Red Spinel from Burma, beautifully cut as a cushion. The center stone is ornamented with eight vari-shaped and vari-sized rose-cut diamonds, giving an artistic petal-like finish to the graceful ring.

Each IVY Ring is one-of-a-kind and sized 6.5 (53) by default. However, it can be resized to bigger or smaller one. Please send us email with the required size prior to your purchase.

Color: Red
Certified: GRS

Origin: Burma

***It seems a travesty that while there have been red spinels in most of the world’s Crown Jewels for centuries, this has been under the misleading name of “balas ruby” and their true identity has only come to light comparatively recently. Their rarity has limited their profile still further because, as hugely desirable as these most exquisite of stones may be, their small supply limits their visibility in the world market.***

(extract from RED SPINEL chapters of the book "Gemstones.Terra Connoisseur" by Vladyslav Yavorskyy)
