Sri Lanka Gems Book Opening Ceremony
Freshly back from Sri Lanka, we are humbly glowing with appreciation. This is what happens when a single person's lifelong dedication comes in synergy with the whole country's good will and great power. The Chief Guest of 28th Facets Show last week in Colombo, Vladyslav Yavorskyy expressed his love to Sri Lanka in his candid speech on stage, mentioning those especially dear people who guided his gem way for 25 years. But no words could express the feelings better than the book itself: a gift from the bottom of the heart, a true Gem of the Book, reaching far beyond stone lovers this time, spreading the grandeur of the treasure land on a global and historical scale.
"Within this book, acknowledged gem master Vladyslav Yavorskyy explores the place where he began his journey into the world of gemstones and opened his first cutting factory. Through decades of vivid and candid photography and a kaleidoscopic backdrop of Ceylon gemstones, he showcases his strong attachment to the country, history, traditions, and people of Sri Lanka... ...
